Art Inspired by the Sublime: A Look at the Eidophusikon

The Eidophusikon combines visual art, technology, and scenography. This unique installation features moving images that create a mesmerizing visual experience.Let’s take a closer look at the creative process behind the Eidophusikon. Here you will see a few images of the work by the talented visual artists who collaborated on this project.

THE EIDOPHUSIKON itself was the product of a year of research, exploration, testing and finally, creation. I could not have done it without the support and collaboration of a number of highly talented people. These are the visual artists I worked with to realise the Eidophusikon. Each artist gave me an image or a set of images that I collaged and made into scenography that could move inside the Eidophusikon. Each scene had to be turned into six separations so they could slide along the 6 grooves of the bottom of the contraption.

This allowed the visitors to see the artists’ work more fully. It is only a small taste of what they do. Please follow the artists on Instagram to see more.
